OBJECTIVE

Increase community resilience, civil society capacity and service delivery in conflict-affected communities in Yemen

WHAT WE DID

ARK has been operating in Yemen since 2010 when we conducted our first analysis into conflict and extremism drivers in the country and established a residential civil society capacity building centre. More recently we have worked across the conflict lines with local governance and civil society actors to co-design and deliver life-saving service delivery, peacebuilding and conflict prevention projects, such as the provision of water to over a million people in Aden. Efforts are underway currently to support the rehabilitation and reintegration of former combatants and assist Yemen in its response to the Covid-19 outbreak.
